A floral designer by profession and passion, with over 20 years of education and experience, Fuscia Designs is now in the loving and capable hands of Lisa Duncan.

Prior to taking over Tamara and Kevin’s successful floral event company, Lisa worked freelance for Fuscia Designs and fell in love with the studio. The environment is lighthearted and fun yet structured, which fits Lisa’s design aesthetic and work ethic. When hearing from the shop’s senior designer that Fuscia would potentially be shutting down, it was no surprise that Lisa blurted out, “we should buy it!”

As the saying goes “nothing worth having comes easy”, and becoming Fuscia’s owner was a lengthy and trying process. But with the patience of Tamara and Kevin and the help of Dena Katsis (of Safebridge Financial), Lisa’s dream of owning a floral design studio has become a lovely reality.

Lisa is all creativity and passion. Not only is she a talented floral designer, but Lisa was also a touring professional musician for over 30 years. And because every woman deserves to have her cake and eat it too, she continues to pursue her musical passion and is the lead/backup singer of Toronto-based funk rock band called Lese Majesty (alongside her husband, Peter). Lisa feels truly blessed that her passions are her professions and vice versa.

When she isn’t creating gorgeous floral arrangements at Fuscia or performing with Lese Majesty at The Horseshoe Tavern, you can find Lisa spending quality time with Peter, her beautiful step daughters (Sophia and Olivia), their dog (Murphy) and cat (Moses).
